Seniors, Disciple Making, and Servant Leadership
| In an effort to become disciple makers, the 2008 seniors have stepped up and answered the call to be chapel leaders at Denton Calvary Academy. Added to the academic requirements of a senior, extra curricular activities, serving in their churches, and work; our seniors have begun a program of disciple making, the older students leading the younger. |

At times through the year the seniors meet to eat, chat and grow in their relationships with one another. On a cold fall evening in October they met and shared soup together at the Gaileys. |
| Sweet friends, both Amanda and Sidney are group leaders who love their girls, and their girls love them, as well. |

There are eleven chapel groups with two seniors leading 7-11 grade students each Monday and Wednesday. On most Mondays they share testimonies, Bible truths, life experiences and lessons, and have gotten to know each other. On Wednesdays they gather and pray. They also spend some time together in school as well as outside of school as they build relationships with their younger classmates. |
| On some Mondays the groups SERVE on our campus. They sweep, wash windows, clean desks, blow off porches, spot carpets, pick up trash; and our seniors lead from the front as they direct and work with their groups. As you can see, these guys have to have a sense of humor to pull this off! |
